Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: academic calendar; Disruptive Student Behavior Policy; faculty research support; Learning Resources Committee; Campus Safety Survey; reorganization of IT structure; eRate policy; Ad Hoc Rules Committee Final Recommendation; establishment of General University Matters Committee; AAUP Ombuds Proposal; Senate nominations.
