Faculty Senate Minutes

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Beginning in 2007, Minutes of the University of West Georgia Faculty Senate were promulgated in electronic format via the Senate's section of the University Website. The copies deposited here were harvested from that site and feature searchable text. They are also compressed to allow for optimal download speeds.
