Description
The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: high school graduation data; the Nexus degree in supply chain (Business); Winter West (a UWG craft fair featuring UWG student artists and work); metrics for PTR and promotion and tenure; budget reductions; ethics awareness week; Google Drive storage; and CourseDen (Learning Management System) course templates.
