Description
The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: an update regarding in progress and anticipated construction projects; upcoming transition from Google to Microsoft; a report on a proposed block scheduling idea; and changes to bring the UWG Faculty Handbook in alignment with Board of Regents Policy.
