The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: student art installation in Newnan, Winter West Wonderland; upcoming accreditation visit by SACSCOC; the Nexus degree in supply chain; faculty scholarship and teaching workload; future of the Arts at UWG; and the QEP and its focus on experiential learning.
