Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: resolution recognizing the service of President Sethna; resolution recognizing Paul Rutledge and the Budget Committee; admission appeals; grade appeals; dual enrollment; common language on syllabus; limited course withdrawal policy; plus/minus grade system; intellectual property policy; Parking Code; deactivation of the COSS Planning Program.
