Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: the state-wide enrollment decline; new reporting for ITS; the "Garage" maker space; detriment of flame logo; right sizing the institution; student success initiatives; QEP focused on experiential learning; merging ITS with Academic Affairs; Google Storage; and the faculty evaluation process.
