Description
The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: changes in the Human Resources Department; Information Technology Services Assessment Report and the president's views about it; budget update by the president; results of campus inclusion study; University System of Georgia Faculty Council (USGFC) vote about salary inequities.
