Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: deactivation of the Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree; College of Education changes to its Academic Standings Policy; hardship withdrawals; revisions to the Parking Code; Chair Elect position on Faculty Senate; Engage West! survey results (employee engagement); Policy Task Force.
