Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: time limits to complete a graduate degree; transient students; Friday 200 minute classes in Fall 2012; external researcher policy; evaluation of deans; promotion and tenure; LRC Faculty Research grants; white paper by the UWG Online Degrees Task Force.
