The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: classes and programs on the Douglasville Campus; part-time faculty; QEP; Post Tenure Review; salary increases; annual evaluation of faculty; faculty listserv; student course evaluations; revising the Student Evaluation Instrument; and modifying the Faculty Handbook to include/define student success.
