Description
The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: report on renovations to student housing; faculty annual evaluation forms; migration from Google to Microsoft; QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan); SACSCOC accreditation; and breakout sessions to discuss the formation of a new school and college.
