The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: promotion and tenure policies; recurring evaluations; revisions to Faculty Senate committees; international faculty and students and the value of a global education; nominations for Faculty Senate leadership positions; the President's Council for Campus Inclusion (PCCI).
