Description
The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: volunteer policy; QEP; Rules Committee revisions to Policies and Procedures regarding allocation of senators, standing committees, committee chairs, amendment processes, and voting at General Faculty Meetings.
