The Faculty Senate Newsletter is an electronic communication distributed by the University of West Georgia to inform faculty members of the actions taken at the most recent meeting of the Faculty Senate. This body, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This inaugural issue of the newsletter contains updates about a faculty salary study, online course evaluations, grievance processes for promotion and tenure, and the need for a new executive secretary.
