Description
The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. The Faculty Senate began issuing Resolutions on a selective basis in 2008 to emphasize collective opinion of the faculty within, and in addition to, the official minutes of the organization. This resolution, titled "Resolution to Recognize the Outstanding Contributions of Dr. Paul Rutledge and the Faculty Senate Budget Committee," commends Dr. Rutledge and the Committee for their leadership in addressing salary equity issues. The Faculty Senate adopted this resolution on April 19, 2013.
