This archival file of information is about Irvine Sullivan Ingram Library (commonly shortened to Ingram Library) at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia. This particular file is an Adobe document reporting Library news and activities of the Penelope Melson Society, which was a Friends group established under the leadership of E. Lorene Flanders, Dean of Libraries. This 2019 issue was edited by Brittiny Prenell, an employee, under the leadership of the dean, Dr. Beth M. Sheppard. The newsletter contains stories about library programs such as exhibits and presentations by UWG professors and national scholars, a tribute to Dr. Mel Steely, some library statistics for fiscal year 2017, and a lasagna recipe contributed by Shelley Rogers, an employee and Melson board member.
