Mosaic art to the left of the central figure of Christ giving his blessing within the triumphal arch of the Basilica of St. Apollinare in Classe (or Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, or Saint Apollinaris in Classe), which is located in Ravenna, Italy. The winged figure on top represents the Evangelist John as an eagle. Below it are six sheep that out of the city of Jerusalem to God. Below the city is a palm tree, which is a symbol of the martyrdom. The portion of the photo on the lower right shows part of the apsidal conch of the church's apse, showing the robes of Moses.
