Abstract

This essay refers to Native American and Jewish religious discourse in terms of land disputes. With this being said, discussed is how transcendent authority and religious discourse. are often employed to justify claims to land and or territory. We see this, especially in Jewish claims to Israel/Palestine and also in Native American disputes over land stolen during colonial times. The essay outlines why to this day these two groups still fight for their chosen lands.
