Abstract
Description
Some tourists use a stairway outside the Blue Grotto's entrance to walk up to Capri's mainland after exiting the sea cave. Small rowboats are necessary to explore the caves, with the passengers laying down in the boats, as the mouth of the cave is only one meter high by two meters wide. The natural sea cave is 60 meters long and 25 meters wide. The Blue Grotto is the most famous sight on Capri Island, Italy. It is named for the azure blue light inside the cavern, where the water is a crystalline blue with silver reflections. The Blue Grotto is on the northwest coast of Capri in the municipality of Anacapri.
