Description

The three Eucharist sacrifices of Abel, Melchizedek and Abraham are represented in a mosaic on the south wall of the apsidal conch in the Basilica of St. Apollinare in Classe (or Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, or Saint Apollinaris in Classe), which is located in Ravenna, Italy. This mosaic appears on the bottom right of the apsidal conch and was added in the 7th century. A saint on the bottom right of the triumphal arch is pictured on the right of the photo.
