dc.descriptionExiting the low, narrow mouth of the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) on Capri, Italy, as shown from the passenger's point of view in a small rowboat. Small boats are necessary, with the passengers laying down in the boats, as the mouth of the cave is only one meter high by two meters wide. The natural sea cave is 60 meters long and 25 meters wide. The Blue Grotto is the most famous sight on Capri Island, Italy. It is named for the azure blue light inside the cavern, where the water is a crystalline blue with silver reflections. The Blue Grotto is on the northwest coast of Capri in the municipality of Anacapri.
