dc.descriptionDoor of the privately owned dwelling that is purportedly owned by Simon the Tanner mentioned in Acts 9:43, 10:5-8 and 10:31-32 Paul stayed there when he visited Jaffa. Writing painted on the door jam reads in English, "House of Simon the Tanner's" and underneath in German, "Der Gerbe," which translates to "the tanner" in English. A plaque on the door reads, "The Zakarian Family." . This close up of the notices include the Hebrew and Arabic.
