Jaffa

Also known as Joppa, Jaffa is a city on the western coast of Israel. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible a handful of times and is associated with St. Peter in the New Testament. It was a port during the Selucid era. Photos in this collection focus on "Old Jaffa", the historic city center.
