As well as transferring from powerboats to rowboats on the Gulf of Naples, the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) on Capri, Italy can be reached by land from the center of the municipality of Anacapri by first walking down Via Pagliaro, then down Via Grotta Azzurra (3.5 km); or, via a public bus which leaves from Piazza della Pace. From the final stop, stairs down to the seaside lead to the queue for the rowboats. Along the stairs is a small concession stand.
