Abstract

The decision to bring home a new puppy while being a college student can be a wonderful yet difficult task. There are many pros and cons when making this decision. One must remember a puppy needs frequent bathroom breaks, play times for exercise, and many other daily tasks. Life, Leisure, and Research are what this is about. A person must understand the responsibilties of pet ownership while also being a college student. The student needs to make sure that the responsibility can be handled by him/her before bringing a new puppy home.

Description

A new puppy is a joyous time, but they come with several responsibilties. A new puppy must be taken for vet visits for vaccines, baths given since they are lower to the ground and like to walk in their own feces/urine by accident, daily walks for exercise or play times in inside, frequent potty breaks to learn how to use the potty outside. These are some of the considerations when it comes to making a decision to bring a new puppy home while also attending college. Most college students online are parents as well. That means they are working and taking of care kids. A new puppy on top of school, work and their own families can be stressful! One must consider this before bringing the new puppy home. However, puppies are like toddlers and the joy they bring students/families can outweigh the responsibilites of the puppy. A puppy brings happiness and laughter to a home. They can help with stress by making the college student happier since they are getting puppy kisses, licks, and just having a lap dog can relax the student. Please consider all pros and cons before bringing a new puppy home! Make sure that all needs of yourself, family, work, school and the new puppy will be met!
