Description
The Capri Faraglioni are famous rock formations off the Island of Capri, Italy. Faraglioni are stacks, a geological term referring to steep, vertical columns of rock in the sea near a coast, formed by wave erosion. The photograph was taken from the Gardens of Augustus. The foreground shows a cactus that was vandalized by a tourist.
