Description
Much of the interior decoration of the Battistero degli Ariani (Arian Baptistery; Arian Baptistry) has been lost over the centuries (aside from the ceiling mosaic), but this fragment of art remains on the wall. This photo shows an extension of the previous photo, with a portion of the domed ceiling's mosaic decoration. The mosaic depicts two full representations of the twelve apostles, and two partial portions.
