A Twentieth Century inscription (in Latin) on a support column in the cave system under St. Catherine's acknowledges Jerome, Paul, and Eusebius of Cremona. Also included in the inscription is the elder (Presbyter), Vincentius, who was from Constantinople, but visited Jerome in Bethlehem.
