The Faculty Senate Newsletter is an electronic communication distributed by the University of West Georgia to inform faculty members of the actions taken at the most recent meeting of the Faculty Senate. This body, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This issue of the newsletter contains information about elections, a department name change, the presidential search, the benevolence fund, and an implicit bias workshop.
