Abstract

Description

This archival file of information is about Irvine Sullivan Ingram Library (commonly shortened to Ingram Library) at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia. This particular document is a speech written and delivered by the Dean of Libraries, Dr. Beth M. Sheppard, at a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new Techwest service desk on the first (main) floor of the Library building. The Techwest Desk is staffed by members of the University's Information Technology department during business hours in order to support student success regarding information technology issues; for example, students can bring their personal devices for troubleshooting. This service desk supplements the online help that is available through the University's email system.
