dc.descriptionWithin the bathhouse itself, one sees not only geometric frescoes, but also a roughly constructed (perhaps using broken columns?) mikveh, or ritual bath. Perhaps this addition was added by the Jewish rebels (zealots) during their occupation of the fortress.
