The entry to the Church of the nativity represents three eras. The Justinian era entry is above the area in this photo. The arched entrance, currently blocked up, was put in place by the Crusaders. Finally, the tiny door, called the Door of Humility, was added by the Ottomans. This photograph should be compared with photographs in this collection of the entrance in 2023 when reconstruction was complete.
