Abstract
Description
The Cave of Jehoshaphat is part of a series of burial niches and monuments in King's Valley. It is dated to the end of the second temple period (1st century CE). This is a view of the interior. The actual identities of those originally buried in the cave are not known. The cave is located directly behind Absalom's Pillar, around which one must squeeze to see this burial niche.
