Photo of an area which a sign describes as Area G, a "Late 3rd Millennium BC Public Building and an Early 2nd Millennium BC Princely Tomb." Another sign at the main entrance reads: "Early Bronze IIIB Palace in Area G 2450-2350 BC). As recent Palestinian excavations definitely demonstrated, a major public building (a palace) was erected on the top of Spring Hill during the Early Bronze II, and remained in use until the end of that period (2350 BC) when it was destroyed by a fierce fire.
