Signage for the Gardens of Augustus (Giardini di Augusto). These are botanical gardens on the island of Capri, Campania, Italy. The gardens were established by the German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp in the early twentieth century when he built his mansion on Capri, and were known until 1918 as Krupp Gardens. The gardens are designed in terraces overlooking the sea.
