The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. The Faculty Senate began issuing Resolutions on a selective basis in 2008 to emphasize collective opinion of the faculty within, and in addition to, the official minutes of the organization. This resolution, titled "Resolution to Recognize the Service of President Beheruz N. Sethna," commends the president, who is returning to the faculty, for outstanding leadership of the institution for 19 years. The resolution specifies a number of ways in which his service was exceptional. The Faculty Senate adopted this resolution on April 19, 2013.
