Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. This body typically meets once per month to vote on curriculum changes, hear committee reports, and discuss issues that affect faculty. Highlights of this meeting include: creation of rubrics for faculty annual evaluation; review of UWG mission statement; SACSCOC accreditation review; honorary degree for musician and performer Zac Brown; USG funding formula; long term enrollment projections; Maple Street corridor improvement; Master of Science in Strategic Cyber Security; and Pafford Hall renovation.
