dc.descriptionInterior view of the Battistero degli Ariani (Arian Baptistery; Arian Baptistry). It is sparsely adorned, with exposed brickwork and no remaining furnishings. The lower portion of the photo shows the arched entrances to side apses; arched, mullioned windows provide light above. The upper portion of the photo shows a small part of the outermost register of the mosaic decoration of the domed ceiling, which is the highlight of the Arian Baptistery. The presence of tourists helps to show the scale of the brick building.
