Abstract

Description

The Faculty Senate of the University of West Georgia, constituted within Academic Affairs, is the primary means through which faculty participate in the shared governance process at the University. The Faculty Senate began issuing Resolutions on a selective basis in 2008 to emphasize collective opinion of the faculty within, and in addition to, the official minutes of the organization. This resolution, titled "Resolution on Campus COVID Related Protocols at UWG," makes ten urgent recommendations to the university president for addressing the COVID 19 worldwide pandemic in terms of the welfare of the UWG community. The Faculty Senate adopted this resolution on September 10, 2021.
