Description
A steep and winding staircase has been built to allow visitors to traverse down the western slide of the mesa to reach the middle and lower levels of the palace. One can see the Dead Sea in the background. In almost the exact center of the photo is a light colored square corner, which is the lower terrace of the palace. The semi-circular middle level terrace is just slightly upward and to its right.
