A sign about "The Rebels' Community Life" describes inscribed pottery shards that were perhaps used for food rationing, as currency, or even to register fighting units. The sign (as photographed here) does not appear to use the techical words ostrica (plural) or ostricon (signular) for borken pottery pieces with writing.
