Morocco has a rich tradition of teligious art and architecture. Islam is predominate but Morocco was also the home of Jewish refugees. As a result, it is not unusual to also stumble accross synagogues, cemetaries, and other structures related to Judaism. For those interested in the period of the Roman Empire, there are some wonderful remains of Roman colonies.
