Jerusalem: Western Wall

The Western Wall is a stretch of Herodian era blocks that made up the platform upon which the Second Temple was built by Herod the Great. It is a site of religious significance in Judaism and worshippers gather at the wall for prayer, services, and religious rituals. Photos in this collection were taken in 2016 and 2023 by Dr. Beth M.
